Terms of Service

These Terms of Service outline the conditions under which Putivo provides booking, review, invoicing, and on‑site services. By submitting a request through our website, you agree to the policies described below.

1. Service Requests

All service requests submitted through Putivo.com are considered preliminary. A Putivo specialist will review your items, photos, notes, and scheduling preferences to confirm feasibility and clarify any missing details.

2. Pricing Policy

All prices displayed on Putivo.com, including those shown during booking, are starting rates. Final pricing may be adjusted after reviewing item size, weight, height, installation complexity, or other job‑specific factors. You will receive a final invoice for approval before any appointment is scheduled.

3. Minimum Payment

All bookings are subject to a minimum service fee. This minimum applies regardless of the number of items assembled or the time required. If the calculated total is below the minimum, the minimum fee will be charged.

4. Trip Charge for Opened Boxes or Missing Parts

If a technician arrives and discovers that:

Putivo will charge a trip fee to cover the technician’s time and travel. This fee applies even if the assembly cannot be completed. If the customer chooses to reschedule after obtaining replacement parts, a new appointment must be booked.

5. No Work Without Approval

No work will begin until you approve the final invoice. Putivo does not schedule appointments, dispatch specialists, or perform any services without explicit customer approval.

6. Photos and Product Links

Providing photos and product links helps ensure accurate pricing and reduces the need for follow‑up questions. However, they are optional unless specifically required for certain complex items.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Once an invoice is approved and an appointment is scheduled, cancellations or rescheduling requests may incur fees depending on timing and specialist availability. Same‑day cancellations always incur a fee due to technician scheduling commitments.

8. Safety and Access

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe access to the workspace, including parking, building entry, elevator availability, and compliance with building rules. Putivo reserves the right to decline service if conditions are unsafe or materially different from the information provided. A trip fee may apply in these cases.

9. Electrical Work Disclaimer

Putivo technicians are not licensed electricians. We do not modify, diagnose, repair, or assume responsibility for:

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all electrical components, outlets, and fixtures are safe, functional, and compliant with local codes. Putivo is not liable for any electrical issues, failures, or damages arising from pre‑existing conditions or customer‑provided equipment.

10. Customer‑Provided Products

Putivo assembles items exactly as provided. We are not responsible for:

If an item cannot be safely assembled due to product issues, a trip fee may apply.

11. Non‑Payment and Failed Payments

Payment is due at the time of service completion. If a payment method fails or a customer refuses to pay:

We take non‑payment seriously because it directly impacts our technicians and their families.

12. Chargeback & Fraud Policy

Filing a chargeback for a valid, completed service is considered fraudulent activity. In such cases, Putivo may:

Fraudulent disputes harm small businesses and will be handled accordingly.

13. Technician Safety Rights

Putivo technicians have the right to a safe, respectful, and professional working environment. A technician may refuse or stop service if they encounter:

If service must be stopped for safety reasons, a trip fee will apply.

14. Customer Responsibilities Before Arrival

To ensure a smooth appointment, customers agree to:

If the workspace is not ready, the technician may wait up to 10 minutes. After that, a trip fee may apply.

15. Trip Fee Schedule

Trip fees compensate technicians for time and travel when a job cannot be completed due to circumstances outside Putivo’s control. Trip fees apply when:

Trip fees vary by service area and are listed on our pricing page.

16. Liability

Putivo is not responsible for pre‑existing damage, manufacturer defects, missing parts, or structural issues that prevent successful assembly or installation. Specialists will notify you if an item cannot be safely completed.

Our responsibility is limited to the labor we provide and does not extend to product warranties or manufacturer defects.

17. Changes to These Terms

Putivo may update these Terms of Service periodically. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your request.
